In 1929, Julia Morgan was commissioned to renovate and expand Stonedene. Julie Morgan was the first woman to be admitted to the architecture program at the Ecole Nationale et Speciale des Breaux-Arts in Paris and the first woman architect licensed in California.

The Future of Suisun Valley is Amazing
The Suisun Valley is unique in what it offers to both local residents and those wanting to escape the rush of city life. It's about an hour away from San Francisco or Sacramento. In 1982, Suisun Valley, earned Federal Recognition as the SUISUN VALLEY APPELLATION, christening the valley as an American Viticultural Area.

The Wagner Family, owners of Caymus Vineyards in Napa Valley, has built a large winery at the very southern end of Suisun Valley. the Winery has 60,000 square feet of floor space and is now open. The winery grounds includes 2,000 trees and plants to accentuate the landscape. They say anything is possible, whether it be a new restaurant, hotel or whatever you dream of.
